Six Years of Service, Growth, and a Jeep Family That Keeps Giving Back
Six Years Strong — and Still Growing
This year marked the 6th year in existence of the Pine Barren Venom Jeep Club (PBVJC), and it was one of our most defining yet.
What began six years ago as a small group of friends with a shared love for Jeeps and the outdoors has grown into a true Jeep family community, A mission-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit built on service, education, stewardship, and connection. PBVJC has grown to over 3,100 members, bound together not just by vehicles, but by values.
Through every ride, event, and initiative, the club stayed rooted in one guiding principle: quality over quantity.
Charitable Giving & Community Support
Giving back remains the foundation of PBVJC.
Throughout the year, the club supported multiple causes through fundraising events, direct donations, and hands-on outreach. Food drives helped support local food pantries across New Jersey, while our 6th Annual Toy Drive, in partnership with the New Jersey State Park Police, brought joy to children and families during the holiday season.
Behind every donation were countless volunteer hours, quietly given by members who believe that community service is part of who we are.
Veteran Outreach: Venom Elves and Friends
Veteran outreach continues to be one of PBVJC’s most personal and meaningful missions through Venom Elves and Friends.
This year, PBVJC proudly adopted Veterans Haven South, a home for homeless veterans. Members delivered goodie bags, homemade cookies, and just as important time and conversation.
The laughter, stories, and connections shared during these visits reminded us that sometimes the most powerful support is simply showing up.
Reclaim: Our Pride and Joy
Reclaim remains the pride and joy of all PBVJC events.
This signature annual event supports first responders and proudly benefited the Troopers United Foundation, helping provide assistance to first responder families in times of need.
Reclaim represents everything PBVJC stands for. Community, gratitude, collaboration, and heart. It is the result of months of planning, an incredible volunteer effort, and unwavering support from sponsors, vendors, and attendees.
Woods Rides & Off-Road Education
PBVJC hosted numerous guided woods rides throughout the year, welcoming all levels of experience, from first-time off-roaders to seasoned drivers.
Beyond recreation, the club emphasized education by offering:
- Off-Roading 101 lessons
- Guidance for legal and responsible use of unpaved roads
- Safe group travel practices
- Proper radio communication and convoy etiquette
Each ride balanced fun with responsibility, reinforcing that protecting access to the woods is just as important as enjoying them.
Education, Stewardship & Clean Communities
Education and stewardship are woven into everything PBVJC does.
As proud supporters of Tread Lightly!, members promote responsible recreation and environmental awareness. PBVJC is also a New Jersey Adopt-A-Highway participant, regularly cleaning and maintaining roadways and helping keep local roads free of litter for everyone.
Community Events & Public Outreach
PBVJC remained highly visible in the community this year.
Highlights included attending one of the largest trunk-or-treat events we’ve ever seen, bringing Jeeps, decorations, and smiles to countless families. The club also participated in car shows, charity events, and public gatherings throughout the year.
Fun mattered too. From trail rides to social events like Jeep Night at Ricca’s Brick Oven Bar & Grill, PBVJC continued building connections both on and off the road.
Topless day event
Topless Day is a nationwide initiative sponsored by Extreme Terrain, bringing Jeep communities together across the country to raise money for a variety of charitable causes. This year, our local PBVJC Topless Day supported SE4SK (Special Events for Special Kids). Our “Touch-a-truck event was one for the record books”. Helping raise funds for children with disabilities. These donations go directly toward giving kids the opportunity to enjoy life through meaningful inclusion, and lifelong memories.
A Connected Jeep Family
What truly sets PBVJC apart is the way members support one another.
Across our social media pages, members regularly help other members with repairs, upgrades, and advice. Sharing knowledge, tools, and experience. The club also helps connect members with trusted local shops for their Jeep needs, including Globex Performance and Liquid Iron Industries.
When life gets tough, PBVJC lifts its own. Offering encouragement, resources, and guidance through the support of fellow members and our club chaplain.
Health, Lifestyle & Everyday Support
PBVJC extends beyond Jeeps and events.
Members support one another through initiatives like the PBVJC Weight Loss Challenge, encouraging healthier lifestyles, accountability, and motivation. Through PBVJC Eats!, members also share recommendations on where to grab a great meal, supporting local businesses and each other along the way.
The Power Behind PBVJC: Volunteers
None of this happens without volunteers.
From event planning to boots-on-the-ground execution, PBVJC is powered by members who give their time selflessly — often without recognition. Their dedication is the backbone of everything the club accomplishes.
Looking Ahead to 2026
As PBVJC closes out a strong year in 2025, the club looks ahead to 2026 with intention and focus.
The goal remains clear:
- Continue building a well-rounded Jeep community
- Stay grounded in service and stewardship
- Strengthen what already works
- Uphold the quality over quantity mindset
PBVJC didn’t just grow this year, it thrived. And with a solid foundation beneath us, the road ahead looks stronger than ever.
