[Local PBVJC News Desk] – Under clear skies and perfect weather, the Pine Barren Venom Jeep Club hosted its fifth annual Reclaim event — a celebration of first responders, community spirit, and shared passion for the open road.
Reclaim 5 – A Day of Honor, Unity, and Unforgettable Memories
Opening with Heart and Leadership
The morning began with a warm welcome from Pine Barren Venom Jeep Club President Steve Szabo, who addressed the crowd with heartfelt gratitude for first responders, sponsors, vendors, volunteers, and every attendee who helped make Reclaim 5 possible. His remarks set the stage for a day of unity, celebration, and purpose, reminding all present why the event has become such a meaningful tradition.
Following his address, Club Chaplain Chad Muessig, a First Responder and published author, delivered a moving prayer that brought the crowd to a hush. His words wove together themes of faith, hope, and unity — perfectly setting the tone for the day’s events.
Vibrant Vendors and Flavorful Fare From the moment the gates opened,
The event grounds buzzed with life. Local vendors showcased everything from cast iron cookware and self-defense gear to automotive essentials and handcrafted goods. The air was rich with the aroma of amazing food and sweet treats, as food trucks kept attendees energized and smiling throughout the day.
Music and Entertainment
The stage came alive with the high-energy performance of NEXT, whose music kept spirits lifted and feet moving. Festivities continued into the evening at the Globex Performance After Party at Spellbound Brewery, where Suitcase Murphy delivered a set that turned celebration into a full-blown party.
A Salute from the Skies
A highlight of the day came as the New Jersey State Police executed a perfectly timed scheduled flyover. Scheduled to coincide with their training day, the display drew cheers from the crowd and served as a powerful reminder of the dedication and service of the state’s troopers.
The event’s proceeds benefited the Troopers United Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting first responders in times of need. Their mission remained front and center, underscoring the fact that Reclaim is as much about giving back as it is about celebration.
Show and Shine Excellence
Vehicles of every variety — Jeeps, trucks, Broncos, and cars — lined the show grounds in a colorful “tent city” of camaraderie. It was more than a display of chrome and paint; it was a gathering of friends, families, and enthusiasts sharing stories and building connections.
Off-Road History in the Making
For off-road enthusiasts, a milestone moment came when Liquid Iron debuted its Flex Zone RTI Ramp. Drivers lined up to test their suspensions, exchange tips, and cheer one another on during the ramp’s maiden voyage.
Unsung Heroes Behind the Scenes
While the spotlight shone on the main attractions, the seamless execution of Reclaim 5 was due to the tireless work of organizers, staff, and volunteers. From months of planning, early morning setup to late-night breakdown, their dedication ensured every detail — from parking logistics to sound checks — ran smoothly.
A Picture-Perfect Day
Bathed in sunshine with a gentle breeze rolling across the grounds, the day’s atmosphere matched the spirit of the event itself: warm, welcoming, and unforgettable.
Community Thanks
Organizers extended heartfelt thanks to the sponsors and donors whose support made Reclaim 5 possible. Their contributions fueled an event that honored service, fostered unity, and created memories that will carry forward until next year’s gathering.
