Venom Elves and Friends Spread Holiday Cheer at Veterans Haven South

Winslow, NJ

Always a heartwarming day!

In a heartwarming display of community spirit, the Venom Elves and Friends 2024 charity initiative brought joy and gratitude to the residents of Veterans Haven South today. This annual event, organized by the Pine Barren Venom Jeep Club, highlighted the power of collective generosity and appreciation for those who have served our country.

The success of the event was a testament not only to the generosity of the community but also to the dedication and hard work behind the scenes. Donations poured into the PBVJC headquarters. Volunteers met on a old morning  and came together to transform generosity into action. As care bags were packed, the staging area was filled with a humble buzz of activity, accompanied by laughter, excitement, and a sense of pride in what was being accomplished. The volunteers, some new faces and some seasoned members, shared stories, jokes, and heartfelt moments as they prepared gifts that reflected the community’s appreciation for the veterans.

This morning, the Pine Barren Venom Jeep Club made their way to Veterans Haven South in an impressive convoy of beautiful Jeeps, a sight that turned heads and added a touch of excitement to the day. Thumbs up and happy waves from passersby made the trip that much more nostalgic. Upon arriving at the Winslow NJ facility, the group was greeted by smiles and warm welcomes from the veterans and well as the welcoming and nice staff.

The morning was filled with heartfelt conversations, shared stories, and moments of connection. Veterans spoke to members about their journeys, while other volunteers listened intently, humbled by the experiences of these heroes.

“The Pine Barren Venom Jeep Club and the broader community truly came together for this,” shared one volunteer. “It’s about more than just giving gifts—it’s about giving time, care, and appreciation to the people who have sacrificed so much for us.” Said club President Steve Szabo adding “ we have some of the most genuine Administration and club members making the magic happen, I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome.”

The event was a reminder of the impact a united community can have. The Venom Elves and Friends didn’t just deliver care packages—they delivered companionship, gratitude, and a sense of belonging.

As the day ended, both veterans and volunteers felt a renewed sense of connection and purpose. For the Pine Barren Venom Jeep Club, it was another successful chapter in their ongoing mission to give back and make a difference
