Pine Barren Venom Jeep Club – 2024 Year-End Recap

What a year!

As the year comes to a close, we reflect on an incredible journey filled with friends, family, adventure, charity, and growth.

Because of all of you, The Pine Barren Venom Jeep Club has become a trusted 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and has achieved milestones that were only dreams just a few years ago. Thanks to the dedication of our administrative team, the passion of our members, the backbone of our families, and the support of our community, 2024 has been one for the books!

Events That Shaped Our Year

Extreme Terrain “Barracade” Topless Day: This year, we partnered with Extreme Terrain to host Topless Day, raising funds for Open Trails New Jersey. These funds contribute to the fight against Wharton State Forest road closures and government overreach, ensuring that the beauty of our forests remains accessible to all.

Reclaim 4: Our fourth-annual charity event for first responders was an absolute success! With food trucks, vendors, live music, raffles, and the Show and Shine competition, we raised funds for the Troopers United Foundation, a non-profit organization that helps all first responders in their time of need. Special thanks to all who made it possible.

Operation Off-Road: A heartfelt event where veterans joined us as passengers for a memorable Jeep ride in the woods. This initiative strengthened our bond with those who served and reminded us of the healing power of camaraderie and nature.

Jeepers Care Food Drive: Our second annual food drive with CFBNJ was a resounding success, crushing our previous years donation and supporting food pantries across New Jersey. The event showcased the generosity of our members and partners who rallied to make a difference for families in need.

Venom Elves Initiatives: This holiday season, our Venom Elves brightened the lives of veterans at Veteran’s Haven South with the help of our members making care packages for those who sacrificed so much for our freedoms.

Our 5th annual Toy Drive with the New Jersey State Park Police. Helping bring smiles to children in our community with this annual toy drive. The smiles we saw are a testament to the giving spirit of our club. Digging deep in a rough economy to help those in need shows the true heart of the members of PBVJC, the NJSPP, and communitymembers from far and wide.

Hammonton Christmas Parade! The Pine Barren Venom Jeep Club came together with festive spirit and creativity, earning 2nd place in the parade!  Huge thanks to everyone who participated, decorated, and cheered us on—it was a magical evening filled with holiday cheer. Here’s to spreading joy and making memories together!

PBVJC Clean Team: This year, we adopted a section of Route 206 and launched the PBVJC Clean Team initiative, showing our commitment to keeping our local highways and environment clean. Members came together to give back, one cleanup at a time.

Beginner Off-Roading Workshop: Sharing our knowledge with new off-road enthusiasts was a rewarding experience. Seeing new Jeepers gain confidence and learn to Tread Lightly ensures the future of responsible off-roading.

Water Tower Challenge: A fun and creative addition this year that brought out the adventurous spirit in our members. From challenging terrain to teamwork, this event was a standout! With more challenges and activities to come, 2025 is sure to be a great year!

Our Community Pages

PBVJC Eats!: Food is the way to everyone’s heart, and our PBVJC Eats! page brings our members together to talk all things culinary. From sharing recipes to discovering the best local eateries, this page has become a delicious hub of our community.

Weight Loss Challenge Page: For the fourth straight year, we continued our focus on health and wellness with our Weight Loss Challenge page. Members rallied together for support, motivation, and accountability in their journey toward a healthier lifestyle. Together, we’re proving that the Jeep community is about more than the vehicles—it’s about bettering ourselves too.

The Bigger Picture

When you join something, especially a Jeep club, you join something bigger than yourself. It’s not just about the vehicles; it’s about the camaraderie, the stories, the Jeep family, the collective passion for adventure, and the drive to give back to the community.

PBVJC offers something for everyone, whether you thrive in our small group activities where you can really dig in, tackle challenges, and get down and dirty, or you prefer the energy of large group rides filled with laughter, big personalities, and unforgettable memories. There’s a space here for every kind of Jeeper.

Even if you’re part of multiple Jeep clubs, finding your true home among one can take time. It’s a journey of discovery, connections, and shared experiences that help you feel like you belong. For PBVJC it’s not about the bling, the numbers, the bragging rights. It’s about the quality of the experience you are in.

Let’s not forget about our beloved mascot, Slither! Always leading the way, Slither teaches valuable lessons and knows how to have fun, making every adventure unforgettable. Be sure to click the Slither link at the top of the page and read all his great adventures!

Celebrating Our Members

The strength of the Pine Barren Venom Jeep Club lies in its members. Whether it’s showing up for events, meet and greets or business sponsored Jeep nights. To helping organize initiatives, or simply spreading the word about our mission, every single member plays a vital role.

This year, we saw:
Incredible teamwork during our highway cleanups.
Unwavering support for our charity drives.
A growing commitment to keeping the forests accessible and pristine for all user groups.
Fun and laughter at our meet ups and Jeep night events.

You are the heart and soul of this club, and we are proud to have you in our Jeep family!

Acknowledging the Administrative Team

Behind every successful event is a dedicated administrative team that works tirelessly to bring ideas to life. Their vision and leadership have taken this club to new heights in 2024. Thank you to our administrators for:

Coordinating logistics for events like Reclaim 4 and Operation Off-Road or Venom Elves and more!

Maintaining open communication with sponsors, partners, and members.

Upholding our values and ensuring we remain a trusted 501(c)(3) organization.

The Reality of the Jeep Life

While we love to focus on the positives, we recognize that no club is without its challenges. People come and go. Friendships are made and, at times, lost. It’s all part of the world we live in. But with every challenge comes growth. We learn from mistakes, find where we truly belong, and build a stronger, more united community.

Looking Ahead to 2025

As we gear up for another exciting year, we look forward to continuing our mission of giving back, creating memories, and embracing the Jeep lifestyle. With the upcoming diet challenge starting in January and a year packed with new exciting events, rides, and the launch of the new PBVJC-OFFICIAL, be on the look out because there is more events to come, we can’t wait to see what the new year holds.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making 2024 a remarkable year. Here’s to more adventures, more giving, and more Jeeping in 2025!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
