Club Chaplain
Here when you need him.
Pine Barren Venom Jeep Club recognizes the influence and impact that faith based leadershave in people’s lives within the community. Pine Barren Venom Jeep Club Chaplain is avital position. The Chaplains role is to embrace the pulse of the Executive Board and itsClub Members. As the world becomes more complex, facing the problems of life becomes more difficult. People may become emotionally and socially crippled when they find that what used to work is no longer effective in coping with life’s pressures.
Many times people under stress look to faith based leaders for answers and assistance with their problems. The role of the Club Chaplain is to be a ‘balancer’. As ‘Jeeping’ can be a tremendous outlet for life’s daily stress, it can also be dangerous when done improperly (such as under outside influences, i.e. substances, loss of home, job, loved one, etc). The Club Chaplain will help to provide appropriate assistance, advice, comfort, counsel, and referrals to those in need who request such support. The primary concern is the immediate and long-term wellbeing of all those involved in the Pine Barren Venom Jeep Club family. Immediate well-being may include care in the sudden loss of life or injury, first response care of trauma and during critical incidents, and may also include care for the effects of poverty, suicide awareness, etc. Long term wellbeing may include providing counsel, assessment and ongoing and mentoring of emotional and whole life issues.
